Wow, the last time mom put a post up was at Glenn's B-day, so I think it's time to update things. Hey everyone, it's me Emmy.
Well, pretty much all that's been going on here is hockey, hockey, and more hockey (not including my dance classes, but who want's to talk about that :^(.
My brother's hockey team ( the bloody Badgers ) had a tournament a few weeks ago, but they didn't win. It doesn't really matter though, we all had fun and that's all that mattered right ( but I still wanted them to beat those stinkin' Eagles )!?!
Our favorite team in the whole world ( The Seattle Thunderbirds ) are the U.S Division Champions, are still in first place, and beat the Tri-City Americans, moving them to the second round of the playoffs ( heck yes )! But their newest, and personally, my favorite player ( not goalie, I still love you Bryan ), Thomas Hickey, had to have shoulder surgery three weeks after he started playing with us ( he's only fifteen :^)! That means he's not going to play until next year ( heck no )!
Well, that's pretty much all I had to say. So GO T-BIRDS! And I'll try to keep you posted.

Well this weekend....Av's lost, Maple Leafs lost - Not good.
Em had a dance competition in Tukwila. And I have no pictures to share. Why? Because we timed our arrival wrong (Em went down with the group) and showed up AFTER she had danced!! Yep, missed it all together! So I guess that takes us out of the running for "Parents of the year"....*sighs* But, she does have 2 more coming up! So there is hope! Glenn had a choir concert at school last week and I'll get a couple pics up soon.

Hi!

Well, I'm still a little wound up from the Canucks/Flames hockey game so I guess I'll finish putting some pictures up.

These are from Glenn's Spring Thaw Hockey Tournament in March. The one where he is wearing the white jersey is from the skills competition. Glenn was picked to participate, only 5 on his team got to compete. Needless to say, we were pretty proud.

Hi everyone! The first picture is part of my "Hobo" costume, the second is in my Alderwood Dance Spectrum team jacket, and the third is my BIG Argentina project. For this, we had to do a power point on the country, a research report, a quilt square with things about the country on it, a displayboard on the country, and a bust on a significant person from Argentina ( her "bun" fell off )! Well, that's pretty much all I have to say.... so .... SEE YA'!

Oh, yea and I was at a thunderbirds game NOT a silvertips game. Cool/bird gave me a card. Like the silvertips would do that! Oh and we put popcorn buckets on our heads! WE got on the jumbotron 4 times!

Well, my intention to get some pics up has been put on hold. And let us thank your granddaughter, niece, cousin Emily! Em "forgot" to mention she had a major project due at school this Friday and we have been frantically trying to get a display board of Argentina done. We need a full map, a flag, a quilt square for the class "world quilt", a clay bust of Eva Peron and a full written report. All of which could have been done while on springbreak and not in 4 days. Grrrr! So yes, that was a look of "uh oh" I saw in Em's eyes when Grandma Laughlin asked her at Easter if she had any homework during her break. Grrrr!

So anyhoo ~ Glenn wants to put up some of his pics and write something about them, so we'll see what we can do this weekend. After I finish Em's costume for her Performance Dance group. Grrrr!

Well, I guess it's official! We have entered blogdom. I will be going in later to post some pics from various things that have taken place over the last few months and get a bit caught up.

A few disclaimers ~

Yes, we do have 2 weatherpixies! Rather then start WWIII at the house, Emily and Glenn got to each pick one. It's kind of interesting though, seems they can get off synch. So you might notice more clouds (this is Seattle) in Em's pixie then there are in Glenn's or visa versa. Or, this could be a mood barometer and whoever has more clouds is the one that just got hit by the other one. (No! That NEVER happens, little angels...)

Also, you might see comments from people with names you don't know, Hmm. Don't be alarmed! These are just my friends from my other blog and they are probably just peeking in to see what's REALLY going on!

And I think I'll end things here. Must get SOME work done...Oh, look! The clock on the wall says it's almost lunch. Guess work will have to wait after all.
